NEW YORK, NEW YORK - A CNN Panelist wanted people to understand Wednesday night that criminals are victims too.

Reacting to a video of a mentally disabled man viciously attacked by a gang of low-lifes in Chicago, Symone Sanders said, "I just want to remind folks that we cannot sit here and ignore that, at least for the last year, on very public display, the worst parts of America have been brought from the fringe into the mainstream. So, that affects people on both sides."

Symone continued, "When someone is repeatedly telling you that your community is the worst of the worst, it brings out the worst of the worst in people. This man in the video was not the only victim, the people that did this are victims too."

Symone continued to allude that president-elect Donald Trump was partially to blame for the actions of these four men in Chicago. She said, "We need to help the men that attacked this mentally disabled man. They probably have suffered from systemic racism, poverty, not having affordable healthcare, low-paying jobs, and not having more things handed to them that they are entitled to."

Eventually, she ended her tirade saying, "People always focus on the victims of crimes, but nobody focuses on the other victims - the people that committed the crimes."
