AMERICA - Christians in American plan to keep a high holy day today by skipping Church and preparing themselves for the Superbowl.

Pew Research shows, that Superbowl Sunday is the day when the churches see the smallest attendance, as Christians pay homage to the local gods in New England and Atlanta.

Many have started their day praying for their local gods to be victorious in the great battle that is to ensue.

"This is the day that the LORD has made and we shall be glad in it!", one Patriots fan said as 11:00am passed as he stayed home from church. "We will get the victory - with God's help of course."

Many of the Christians we have spoken to that plan on skipping church today said their devotion to their team is very religious.
